VIBEDINE APP 
In this proactive freelance project, I partnered with a front-end developer to enhance the VibeDine social dining app. Our objective was to elevate the user experience and visual design, making the app more engaging and visually appealing for users interested in unique social dining experiences.

Project Initiation
The project started when my colleague from the UK shared his vision for a more intuitive social dining experience. He presented me with the existing app, which lacked distinct personality and robust UX design. ​​​​​​​

Armed with a branding guide and original designs, I began the VibeDine redesign. My first step was to empathetically understand the challenges and needs of users, drawing insights from similar apps like Timeleft.
Competitive Analysis
I led a competitive analysis to explore how Timeleft was meeting or failing user expectations. This research helped us understand the pain points and pleasure factors within the social dining app market, guiding our design decisions.

Identified Challenges​​​​​​​
After analyzing user feedback and engaging with the app firsthand, I identified several critical issues:
1. Flexibility in Scheduling: Users desired greater flexibility in choosing dinner times.
2.Cost Accessibility: The high cost was a significant barrier, making the app inaccessible to a broader audience.
3. User Expectations: Some users misunderstood the app's purpose, mistaking it for a dating platform, which negatively impacted their overall experience.

To create a fun, intuitive, and affordable social dining app that offers flexibility and meaningful connections without the pressure of dating.
Simplifying Social Dining Experiences
1. Homepage Overview: At first glance, the VibeDine homepage sets the tone for the brand: playful yet sophisticated. It introduces users to the app's purpose—making genuine social connections in a fun, intuitive way. The 'Get Started' button seamlessly leads users into the personality questionnaire, ensuring the app can curate personalized dining experiences tailored to their preferences and goals.

Expected Impact: The new homepage design is the gateway to a more engaging user experience. By presenting a clear, appealing call to action and streamlining the entry into the app, we anticipate that users will be more inclined to dive deeper and use the app more frequently.
2. Intuitive Onboarding Experience: The onboarding process is designed to be both seamless and engaging, guiding users through steps such as location selection, personality questions, and dining preferences. This ensures that each user’s experience is tailored to their goals and expectations, creating a personalized journey.
Expected Impact: VibeDine's tailored onboarding connects users with like-minded individuals who share similar preferences and goals, fostering meaningful social interactions without the pressure of dating. The personalized and intuitive design promotes genuine connections and long-term user satisfaction.


3. Streamlined Booking & Subscription Experience: The booking process is designed to be effortless and engaging. Users can select their preferred dinner time with intuitive options, reinforced by urgency cues like “Limited seats available.” The “Book My Seat Now” button ensures quick action, making the process seamless and user-friendly.
Subscription plans are presented with clarity, offering flexibility and incentives like savings to encourage long-term engagement. The straightforward design builds trust and transparency, enhancing the overall user experience.
Expected Impact: This user-centric approach is expected to. increase booking completion rates through a frictionless flow, promote customer loyalty with tailored subscription plans, strengthen the overall perception of the app as reliable, efficient, and enjoyable to use.
