CAFE D'KIRKE WEBSITE DESIGN
As part of my web development practice, I designed and developed the Café D'Kirke website. This project involved wireframing, creating high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, and coding the site using Visual Studio Code, completed over a two-week period.
Project Type: School Project
Tools Used: Figma, HTML, CSS, Visual Studio Code, Github
Project Duration:  2 weeks

Step 1: Creating a Moodboard
Step 2-3: Wifeframing and Prototyping
Created a simple wireframe with basic elements and then developed a HiFi prototype for the website.

Step 4: Coding:
During this stage, I turned the initial designs into a working website, utilizing HTML and CSS to ensure a smooth and responsive user experience. I focused on creating a design that adapts effortlessly across various devices, implementing advanced CSS techniques like flexbox and grid to achieve this flexibility.
I carried out the entire coding process in Visual Studio Code, which is a top choice among developers for its efficiency in coding and debugging. I adhered to professional standards by managing the project through Git, which ensured meticulous version control and allowed for easy updates.
Reflection
This project was an excellent opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, bridging the gap between design and development. It not only improved my technical skills but also deepened my understanding of the holistic website creation process, from initial concept to live deployment.
